HELLO, I'M AMIT
Let's get West Sussex smiling
I would love to be your local Dentist. As part of your journey with me, I would like get to know you so I can provide care to meet your individual goals. For that to happen, I feel it’s only right you get to know a little bit about me.

My Experience
My parents came to England in the 70’s as refugees from Uganda and I was subsequently born and raised in South London. From here, I was raised in humble beginnings – my parents working tirelessly to provide for me and my sister. Thankfully, it was these life lessons that have made me the person I am today. From this, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in healthcare, to really help people and give back to my local community.
Fast forward many years, and I graduated from the University of Leeds 2010 as a Dentist with a merit in oral surgery. Since there I have worked primarily in general practice in Yorkshire and Australia, whilst also becoming a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (2011), gaining my postgraduate certificate in Minor Oral Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons (2016) and my Diploma in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry from the Dominic Hassall Training Institute (2020)
Having returned from Australia, I moved to West Sussex, where I am proud and honoured to call this my home. The people of Bognor Regis have been nothing but good to me. For the last 5 years, I have happily worked at MyDentist, Queensway, Bognor Regis.
Giving Back
Do you know what the best medicine is? It’s laughter.
As soon as qualifying, I worked in general practice. In my second year, I had the privilege of working for an NHS practice in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. This is what really cemented the type of care I wanted to provide: General Dentistry. I just love being part of the community, caring from those around me and seeing families grow up happy and healthy.
Having moved down south to be closer to family 5 years ago, I have kept the same beliefs. I really don’t think seeing your Dentist should be a visit of dread, further enhanced with the cold sterile clinical setting of which Dentists are accustomed to which is why I approach my patient care in a very different way to my colleagues.
I treat all my patients like my family. Your mouth is simply one part of who you are, but I want to get to know the whole you so I can provide really comprehensive care.
Do you know what the best medicine is? It’s laughter. Laughter is my favourite medicine, whether it's my terrible dad jokes or you have a story from the weekend. Let’s have fun together, so I can provide a warm welcoming environment.
